Everything you need to know about eFoiling with us
Not at all. eFoiling is surprisingly easy to learn. Unlike kiteboarding or traditional surfing, most people can get up and riding in their first session. Our expert instructors will guide you every step of the way, starting with land training before hitting the water.
Just bring yourself, a towel, and a sense of adventure. We provide all equipment, including wetsuits, life jackets, and eFoil boards. We recommend wearing a swimsuit under your wetsuit and bringing sunscreen. If you have your own wetsuit, you're welcome to use it.
Riders must be at least 16 years old and weigh between 45–120 kg (100–265 lbs). This is the operating range of our eFoils for safe riding. Minors under 19 require a parent or guardian to accompany them. If you have specific concerns about size or ability, please contact us to discuss.
Absolutely. Safety is our top priority. All riders wear life jackets, helmets, and wetsuits and receive comprehensive safety training. The eFoils have multiple safety features, including quick-release hand controllers and automatic shutoff systems. We only operate in calm, controlled water conditions.
We monitor weather conditions closely and will contact you if we need to reschedule due to safety concerns. We operate in light rain but not in thunderstorms or high winds. If we cancel due to weather, you'll receive a full refund or can reschedule at no charge.
Our Weather Policy:
We closely monitor weather and water conditions to ensure safe and enjoyable lessons.
Lessons can operate in light rain
Lessons are rescheduled in strong winds, rain or unsafe conditions
No charge for weather-related rescheduling
Full refund available if we cancel due to weather
You can book directly through our website by selecting your preferred lesson and choosing an available time slot. We accept payment via credit card through our secure payment system. You'll receive a confirmation email with all the details, including meeting location, waiver, and what to expect.
We provide all safety equipment, such as Helmets, Wetsuits, PFD's (lifejackets), and Booties free of charge, and we have a variety of sizes to fit every rider.
But of course you are more than welcome to bring your own wetsuit, that will have the perfect fit.
We operate from three prime locations: Vanier Park (Vancouver - Main Hub), Rocky Point (Port Moody) and Alouette Lake (Maple Ridge). Alouette Lake and Rocky Point are typically the calmest and best suited for absolute beginners.
For safety reasons, we ask riders not to take photos or videos while riding. However, we are happy to take photos or videos during your session, which are included in your lesson. Please let us know in advance.
